We supply & install Fire Extinguishers in residential and commercial properties throughout the North West. We can provide you with Fire Extinguishers to your specific request or can come to your property to assess the correct type of Fire Extingusher for your needs. All Fire Extinguishers supplied by P. W. Fire Services conform to ‘BS EN 3 Portable fire extinguishers’. This legislation requires that the entire body of the extinguisher be coloured red. A zone of colour of up to 5% of the external area can be used to identify the contents using the old colour coding system. Selecting the correct Fire Extinguisher for the type of fire is very important, and a legal requirement. The image below gives some guidance on the types of Fire Extinguishers available.
