The Importance of Emergency Lighting
The importance of Emergency Lighting cannot be underestimated, be it in a situation of Fire or Power Outage. When in complete darkness, the most familiar of places can become frightening and confusing, and does become infinitely more dangerous. This is why Emergency Lighting comes on immediately in the event of a power cut or fire, and then remains on for the required amount of time.
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (14.2(h)) is legislation which covers the requirement for Emergency Lighting and British Standard BS 5266 outlines the requirements and guidelines that need to be followed during the design, installation and maintenance of the system.

For the majority of clients and premises, an annual service is sufficient. Our experienced and qualified electricians are experts in the maintenance and servicing of emergency lighting, and will complete the inspection and provide you with a certificate along with recording the service in your log book along with all other required documentation.
